What is Microsoft SharePoint?

Microsoft Teams is a collaboration and video conferencing platform that helps people work together effectively, whether they are working at home or in the office. The service allows users to communicate via text chat, voice or video calls and also benefits from links to several other Microsoft 365 services, such as OneDrive and PowerPoint.

Although Teams began as a business application, Microsoft has also promoted the platform as a consumer service and has therefore built it into the heart of its new Windows 11 OS. The free version of Microsoft Teams offers a generous set of features that will be sufficient for many individuals and small businesses, while a paid version is available for larger organizations looking for a more comprehensive solution.
