The PL-200 in-company training teaches your Power Platform consultants how to configure, customise and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions for business clients. The training covers discovery, requirement analysis, stakeholder management, solution design and configuration of Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Dataverse, Power Virtual Agents and Power BI integration. The official Microsoft course lasts 4 days and prepares for the Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate certification.
Suitable for IT consultants, business analysts and Power Platform specialists who advise business clients and implement Power Platform solutions. Required prior knowledge: PL-900 or equivalent knowledge of Power Platform, basic knowledge of data modelling and business processes. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group.
Day 1: Microsoft Dataverse and Solution Design
Understanding Power Platform architecture and the consultancy role. Configuring Microsoft Dataverse: environments, tables, columns, relationships and data types. Implementing business rules and validation logic. Configuring security: roles, teams and column security. Creating solutions for version control and deployment.
Day 2: Model-driven Apps and Canvas Apps
Building and customising model-driven apps: forms, views, dashboards and charts. Implementing business process flows. Designing and configuring canvas apps: screens, controls and formulas. Integrating connectors and data sources. Building responsive apps for mobile use.
Day 3: Power Automate and Integrations
Building advanced cloud flows: approval flows, parallel branches and error handling. Implementing desktop flows (RPA) for desktop automation. Configuring business process flows. Building integrations with Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and external systems via connectors and APIs.
Day 4: Power Virtual Agents, Analytics and Deployment
Building and configuring Power Virtual Agents chatbots. Integrating Power BI reports in Power Apps and model-driven apps. Implementing security and compliance. Testing, exporting and importing solutions between environments. Applying application lifecycle management (ALM). Preparation for the PL-200 certification exam.
