Benefit from the SLIM Subsidy for ICT Training

What is the SLIM subsidy?

The SLIM scheme (Stimulation of Learning and Development in SMEs) is a subsidy from the Dutch Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment. SME companies can receive up to €24,999 for training and development programmes for employees. OEM Office Elearning Menu guides you from application to delivery. One point of contact, no hassle.

SLIM subsidy 2026 — application periods

Period 1 — closed
7 April 2026, 09:00 to 4 May 2026, 17:00. This period is closed.

Period 2 — opens 10 August 2026
The second and final application period for individual SMEs opens on 10 August 2026 at 09:00 and closes on 7 September 2026 at 17:00. Applications are drawn by lottery if the budget is exceeded. Submitting early and completely increases your chances.

Partnerships — one period
8 June 2026, 09:00 to 6 July 2026, 17:00. Maximum €500,000 per application, maximum €200,000 per partner.

How much subsidy can you receive?

Individual SME
Subsidy rate: 60% of eligible costs. Maximum subsidy: €24,999. Minimum €5,000 in eligible costs required.

Small companies up to 50 employees
80% subsidy on the first €25,000 in costs. The standard rate of 60% applies to the remaining amount.

Partnerships
Subsidy rate: 60%. Maximum €500,000 per application, maximum €200,000 per partner. Minimum €125,000 in eligible costs required.

How does it work?

Step 1 — Free consultation
Schedule a conversation with Graham. We assess whether your plans fit within the SLIM scheme and which training is most valuable for your organisation.

Step 2 — Prepare the application
OEM helps you prepare the activity plan and budget. You submit the application yourself via the government subsidy portal.

Step 3 — Submit the application
No later than 7 September 2026 at 17:00 via mijnuitvoeringvanbeleidszw.nl. Register on the subsidy portal in advance.

Step 4 — Deliver the training
After approval OEM delivers the training within the agreed period of maximum 12 months.

Step 5 — Final reporting
OEM supports you with the final reporting to the government.

Frequently asked questions about the SLIM subsidy

How much subsidy can I receive?
Maximum €24,999 for individual SME applications. Subsidy rate is 60% of eligible costs. For small companies up to 50 employees, 80% applies to the first €25,000.

What if my application is not approved by lottery?
You can reapply in the next period. OEM keeps your application ready so you can submit immediately.
