SLIM Subsidy 2026 — 60% reimbursement for ICT training
As a Dutch SME, you can receive up to 60% of your training costs reimbursed by the Dutch government through the SLIM subsidy (Stimulans Arbeidsmarktpositie). The second period opens on 10 August 2026 at 09:00 and closes on 7 September 2026. Applications are processed in order of receipt. Do not wait too long — the budget runs out every period.

Who can apply for the SLIM subsidy?
The SLIM subsidy is available for:
- SMEs with 2 to 250 employees
- Large companies in the hospitality, agriculture, recreation and travel sectors
- Collaborative partnerships of SMEs
You must purchase the training courses from a recognised training provider. OEM is a recognised ICT training centre and guides you through the complete application procedure.
Which ICT training courses are eligible?
Almost all ICT training courses from OEM are eligible for the SLIM subsidy. Examples:
- Microsoft Office — Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
- Microsoft 365 and Azure — AZ-900, AZ-104, MS-102 and more
- AI and Copilot — Microsoft Copilot, AI literacy and Power Platform
- Cybersecurity — CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP and Security Awareness
- Data and Analysis — Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and SQL
- Software Development — Python, DevOps, GitHub and Java
- Project Management — Agile, Scrum, PMP and PRINCE2
- Networking — Cisco CCNA and CompTIA Network+

How much subsidy can you receive?
- SMEs: 60% of eligible costs, maximum €24,999 per application
- Large companies: 60% of eligible costs, maximum €500,000 per application
- Collaborative partnerships: 60% of eligible costs, maximum €500,000 per application
Eligible costs include costs of external training providers, exams and course materials. OEM prepares a detailed quote that meets all application requirements.
How do you apply for the SLIM subsidy?
- Request a quote from OEM — we prepare a quote that meets all SLIM requirements.
- Submit the application to RVO — the application is submitted via the RVO subsidy portal on the first day of the period. Do not wait too long as the budget runs out quickly.
- Receive the decision — RVO processes the application and sends a subsidy decision.
- Follow the training courses — the training courses are completed within the subsidy period.
- Submit the accountability report — after completion you submit an accountability report to RVO with evidence of the training courses followed.

Can I also apply for subsidy for e-learning?
Yes, e-learning from a recognised training provider such as OEM is eligible provided it involves a recognised and structured learning programme.
Can I apply for subsidy for multiple employees?
Yes, you can submit one application for multiple employees and multiple training courses, up to the maximum amount of €24,999.
Can I apply for subsidy for in-company training?
Yes, in-company training from OEM is eligible for the SLIM subsidy.
How quickly do I need to submit the application?
Applications are processed in order of receipt. In most periods the budget is exhausted within a few hours to days. Make sure you apply early on 10 August.
