OEM provides customized Access in-company training for teams that want to learn to work with tables, relationships, queries, forms and reports. Every training starts with a free baseline assessment so all participants start at the right level.
Three levels — from first database to full automation
At Basic level your team learns to understand the structure of an Access database — creating tables, defining fields, establishing relationships between tables and running simple queries to filter and sort data. Participants also learn to create simple forms and reports for user-friendly data entry and clear output.
At Advanced level participants work with complex queries including calculated fields, crosstab queries and action queries for automated data processing. Participants learn to build advanced forms with subforms, dropdown lists and validation rules and create professional reports with grouping, subtotals and charts.
At Expert level employees master the complete automation of Access databases via macros and VBA code. Participants learn to set up database security, connect Access to external data sources such as SQL Server and Excel and build complete business applications based on Access.
Access Expert + Power BI — data analysis at the highest level
The Access Expert in-company training is offered as a combination training with an introduction to Microsoft Power BI. Participants learn how to export Access data to Power BI for advanced visualizations and interactive dashboards. This is the ideal combination for teams working with large datasets who want to create professional reports for management and stakeholders.
Access and VBA — for those who want to automate
For teams that want to go beyond standard Access capabilities OEM also offers a dedicated Access VBA in-company training. Participants learn to write Visual Basic for Applications code for complete automation of database processes, error handling and advanced user interfaces.

Every OEM Access in-company training includes a free baseline assessment and intake conversation with the trainer prior to the training, a fully customized training program, a certified trainer with practical database development experience, free handouts for all participants, an online evaluation after completion and a certificate of participation for every participant. Course books are available at an additional cost.

OEM provides Access in-company training for teams from 5 persons. Multiple groups on the same day are possible. The training is delivered at your location or at our premises in Almere.
