Suitable for GitHub administrators, DevOps engineers and IT professionals who manage GitHub Enterprise environments. Required prior knowledge: GH-900 or equivalent GitHub experience, basic knowledge of identity management (SAML SSO, 2FA). Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group.
Day 1: GitHub Administration
Understanding GitHub Enterprise architecture: GitHub.com, GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Enterprise Server. Configuring user identities: SAML SSO, 2FA and SCIM provisioning. Implementing access control: organisations, teams, repository permissions and branch protection. Security management: analysing audit logs, managing Dependabot alerts and configuring secret scanning. Managing GitHub Actions runners: hosted and self-hosted runners, runner groups and policies. Configuring GitHub Packages for internal package distribution.
