The AI Literacy in-company training makes your employees proficient in working with AI tools in the workplace. In this training they learn how to use AI assistants such as Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI tools effectively, efficiently and responsibly for daily tasks: writing and improving texts, summarising information, analysing data, summarising meetings and accelerating work processes. The training is mandatory for organisations subject to the EU AI Act and lasts 1 day.
The AI Literacy in-company training is suitable for all employees who work with Microsoft 365 and want to integrate AI tools into their daily work. No technical background required. Ideal as a mandatory EU AI Act basic training for your entire organisation. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group. Multiple groups on the same day are possible.
What is AI and how does it work?
Your team learns the basic principles of artificial intelligence and generative AI: how large language models work, what the possibilities and limitations are, and how AI tools handle your data. You understand the EU AI Act and what this legislation means for the use of AI in your organisation.
Working effectively with AI: writing prompts
Your team learns how to write clear, effective instructions (prompts) that give AI assistants the right commands. You practise the RICE method (Role, Instruction, Context, End result) using realistic work scenarios from your organisation and learn how to evaluate and adjust the quality of AI output.
Copilot in Microsoft 365
Your team learns to use Microsoft Copilot in daily work: writing and summarising documents in Word, analysing data and generating formulas in Excel, building presentations in PowerPoint, handling emails in Outlook and summarising meetings in Teams.
Responsible and safe AI use
Your team learns the responsibilities when using AI in the workplace: accuracy checking of AI output, handling sensitive and personal data, copyright considerations and recognising AI hallucinations. You understand the organisational AI use policy and know when to verify AI output.
The EU AI Act requires organisations from 2025 onwards to provide employees who work with AI systems with appropriate basic AI literacy training. OEM's AI Literacy in-company training meets this requirement. Upon completion, each participant receives a certificate of participation as proof of completed AI literacy training.
As a Dutch SME, you may be eligible for the SLIM subsidy for ICT training. The Dutch government reimburses 60% of your training costs, up to a maximum of €24,999. The second 2026 period opens on 10 August.
