The MS-700 in-company training teaches your Teams administrators how to plan, configure, deploy and manage Microsoft Teams in a Microsoft 365 environment. The training covers Teams architecture, security and compliance features, network requirements and Teams settings and policies for chat, calling, meetings and collaboration. The official Microsoft course lasts 4 days and prepares for the Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator Associate certification.
Suitable for IT professionals aspiring to the Microsoft 365 Teams Administrator role. Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 and experience with network management, telephony and administrative tasks is recommended. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group.
Day 1: Teams Environment and Collaboration
Understanding Teams architecture and configuring organisation settings. Creating and managing teams and channels. Implementing governance policies: naming policies, expiration policies and classification labels. Configuring guest access and external access. Managing Teams apps and integrations.
Day 2: Meetings, Live Events and Teams Phone
Configuring meeting policies for audio, video and screen sharing. Setting up meeting rooms and conferencing bridges. Configuring Live Events. Planning and implementing Teams Phone: Direct Routing, Calling Plans and Operator Connect. Configuring Auto Attendants and Call Queues.
Day 3: Security, Compliance and Governance
Configuring Conditional Access and MFA for Teams. Implementing DLP policies for Teams messages and files. Configuring eDiscovery and Content Search. Implementing Information Barriers. Activating Communication Compliance. Analysing Teams activity reports.
Day 4: Network, Quality and Management
Planning network requirements for Teams media and quality. Configuring and analysing the Call Quality Dashboard (CQD). Managing Teams devices: IP phones, Teams Rooms and Surface Hub. Using PowerShell for Teams administration. Preparation for the MS-700 certification exam.
