The AZ-700 in-company training teaches your network engineers how to design, implement and manage Azure network infrastructure. The training covers the complete Azure network portfolio: hybrid networks, core network infrastructure, routing, security and load balancing. The official Microsoft course lasts 3 days and prepares for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate certification.
Suitable for network engineers and Azure administrators specialising in Azure networking solutions. Required prior knowledge: AZ-104 or equivalent Azure administrator experience and solid knowledge of on-premises networking (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, BGP, SD-WAN). Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group.
Day 1: Core Network Infrastructure and Hybrid Connectivity
Designing Azure Virtual Networks and subnets. Planning IP address schemes for hybrid environments. Implementing VPN Gateway for site-to-site, point-to-site and VNet-to-VNet connections. Configuring Azure ExpressRoute for dedicated private connectivity. Implementing Azure Virtual WAN.
Day 2: Routing, DNS and Security
Configuring User Defined Routes and BGP routing. Implementing Azure DNS for public and private zones. Configuring Network Security Groups and Application Security Groups. Implementing Azure Firewall Premium for advanced threat protection. Configuring Web Application Firewall. Implementing DDoS Protection Standard.
Day 3: Load Balancing, Private Access and Monitoring
Implementing Azure Load Balancer for Layer 4 load balancing. Configuring Application Gateway for Layer 7 load balancing and SSL offloading. Implementing Azure Traffic Manager for global load balancing. Configuring private endpoints and service endpoints for secure access to Azure services. Using Azure Network Watcher for monitoring and troubleshooting. Preparation for the AZ-700 certification exam.
