The AZ-104 in-company training teaches your IT professionals how to manage Azure subscriptions, secure identities, administer the infrastructure, configure virtual networking, connect Azure and on-premises sites, manage network traffic, implement storage solutions, create and scale virtual machines, implement web apps and containers, back up and share data, and monitor your solution. The official Microsoft course lasts 4 days and is delivered at your location by a Microsoft Gold certified trainer with years of practical experience. The training prepares for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
The AZ-104 in-company training is suitable for Azure administrators, system administrators and IT professionals who implement, manage and monitor Azure environments. Required prior knowledge: experience with virtualisation, networking, identity management and storage. Knowledge of on-premises virtualisation technology, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs and Active Directory is recommended. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group. Multiple groups on the same day are possible.
Day 1: Identity, Governance and Azure Management Environment
Configuring Microsoft Entra ID, creating and managing users and groups. Implementing Role-Based Access Control and configuring Azure policies. Managing Azure subscriptions and resource groups. Using Azure Portal, Cloud Shell, Azure PowerShell, CLI and ARM templates as management environment.
Day 2: Storage and Virtual Networking
Creating storage accounts, configuring blob storage and Azure Files, implementing storage security. Configuring virtual networks with subnetting, IP addressing and network security groups. Setting up Azure Firewall, Azure DNS and DDoS protection. Configuring VNet Peering and VPN Gateways for intersite connectivity.
Day 3: Compute, Network Traffic and Web Apps
Creating and configuring virtual machines for Windows and Linux. Implementing availability sets, availability zones and VM scale sets for high availability. Managing network traffic with Azure Load Balancer and Application Gateway. Configuring App Services, deploying Azure Container Instances and Azure Container Apps.
Day 4: Backup, Site Recovery and Monitoring
Implementing Azure Backup for virtual machines, files and Azure SQL. Configuring Azure Site Recovery for disaster recovery and failover. Configuring Azure Monitor, setting up Log Analytics workspaces and configuring alerts and action groups. Using Azure Network Watcher for network diagnostics. Preparation for the official AZ-104 certification exam.
The training is delivered in sessions of 3 hours: morning, afternoon or evening. A full training day consists of two sessions of 3 hours each. The AZ-104 training lasts 4 full training days (8 sessions). Do you have more than 12 participants? We will schedule two groups of a maximum of 12 participants each on the same day. The trainer comes to your location or delivers the training at our training facility in Almere with free parking.

After the training your employees are fully prepared for the official AZ-104 Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate exam. OEM offers the associated certification exam as an official Pearson VUE exam centre. The exam can be taken on location in Almere or online via remote proctoring.
