The AZ-900 in-company training is suitable for anyone who wants an introduction to Microsoft Azure and cloud computing: IT professionals starting out with Azure, business users and managers who want to understand Azure services, employees preparing for an Azure certification path and decision makers who want insight into the possibilities of cloud solutions. No technical background required. Minimum 4 and maximum 12 participants per group.
Day 1: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
Cloud concepts: definition of cloud, shared responsibility model, IaaS vs PaaS vs SaaS and cloud deployment models. Core Azure services: compute (VMs, App Service, Azure Functions, AKS), networking (Virtual Network, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute), storage (Blob Storage, Azure Files, queues) and databases (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB). Azure management and governance: Azure Portal, Azure CLI, PowerShell, ARM templates, Azure Advisor, Azure Policy and management groups. Azure security: Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, Defender for Cloud, Azure Key Vault and DDoS protection. Privacy and compliance: Microsoft Trust Centre, Compliance Manager and GDPR. Azure costs and SLAs: pricing calculator, Total Cost of Ownership, Cost Management and service agreements.

After the training your employees are fully prepared for the official AZ-900 Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals exam. OEM offers the associated certification exam as an official Pearson VUE exam centre. The exam can be taken on location in Almere or online via remote proctoring.
As a Dutch SME, you may be eligible for the SLIM subsidy for ICT training. The Dutch government reimburses 60% of your training costs, up to a maximum of €24,999. The second 2026 period opens on 10 August.
